SHRIMP AND LOBSTER WHAT'S DIFFERENCE ? and Lobster What's the Difference?

Indonesia, which has wide waters, is even known as a maritime country. Maritime State is a country or an area whose waters are wider than the land. In general, this maritime country is in the form of an archipelago or a country known to have many islands, abundant marine wealth and geographically surrounded by waters.

Because Indonesia is a maritime country, it is not surprising that Indonesia is one of the largest countries that produce marine animals / seafood in the world. More specifically shrimp, shrimp that is widely produced in Indonesia is the vename shrimp.

Shrimp and Lobster are marine animals which have similarities in physical terms. Said to have similarities means shrimp and lobster are actually different. So what are the other differences? Come on!

1. Skeleton / kind of outer shell of Shrimp and Lobster.
Called exoskeleton or exoskeleton in shrimp and lobster. The exoskeleton of a lobster is far from that of a shrimp, the skeleton of a lobster is very thick and very hard. While the exoskeleton of shrimp is thin and transparent.

2. How to move / swim Shrimp and Lobster .
Shrimp move by floating because it takes advantage of its body structure, especially in the abdomen. Because the smooth legs make it easy for the shrimp to swim, even the shrimp rarely walk on the bottom of the water, they just sit still.

3. Shrimp and Lobster Activity.
It is known by the nature of research, Pontes and friends, Vannamei shrimp are very active in swimming at night, if during the day they rarely move / are inactive. Because swimming at night, the shrimp need more oxygen, it can cause the dissolved oxygen level of pond water at night to drop.
While lobsters are not as active as shrimp, because of that shrimp need higher oxygen because they move a lot.

4. Cultivating time between Shrimp and Lobster.
Shrimp requires a faster culture cycle time than lobster. Shrimp only takes 6 months while lobster takes 10 months for the cultivation cycle, even if it is cultivated to a large size, this lobster takes up to 5-8 years.

5. Shrimp and Lobster Cannibalism.
The level of cannibalism in shrimp was lower than in lobster. 

6. Captain .
Lobster body shape is more precisely a combination of shrimp and crab. The body shape is similar to shrimp but has claws like crabs, even the claws on lobsters are almost the same size as their bodies.

7. Residence .
Shrimp does come from the sea, river or even lake. You could say shrimp are easy to find in all "pools" of water. However, the unique thing is that this shrimp can be inhabited anywhere, both in freshwater and brackish water, and this shrimp has a strong immune system. While there are lobsters that live in the ocean and in fresh water.
