You have to know how to store shrimp properly so that the shrimp you buy doesn't stink and rot quickly. Then how to store shrimp properly?

    1. Choose fresh prawns
You have to be really careful in choosing fresh shrimp, you can look for the characteristics of fresh shrimp that are suitable for consumption with those that are not suitable for consumption.
    2. Wash before storing
Wash the shrimp until clean, remove the head, by splitting the shrimp head and removing the dirt in it and then removing the thorns and horns as well.
    3. Give lime juice
After washing, put lime juice on the shrimp and let it sit for a few minutes. After that wash the shrimp again until clean
Or you can also coat the prawns with salt and ground pepper before storing, besides being able to make the shrimp last a long time, seasoning the shrimp with salt and ground pepper can also add flavor.
    4. Store in a closed container
You can store shrimp in a closed container, you can also store food in a bag that is useless if you don't have a special container, or you can also store shrimp in clean plastic and tie it tightly.
    5. Save the shrimp as needed
If you buy shrimp in large quantities, you can divide the shrimp in several places or in plastic, this method aims so that if you need shrimp you just take some plastic to taste and the shrimp in other plastic storage is not disturbed. Because if you store large quantities of shrimp in one container, the container will open and close when you take some shrimp and this method can make the shrimp smell quickly.
    6. Store prawns in the freezer
Keep the shrimp in the freezer, you don't keep the shrimp in the refrigerator but not in the freezer because the cold temperature in the freezer is stronger so it can make the shrimp last quite a while. Estimated shrimp with shrimp storage can be from 2 weeks to 1 month.
    7. Don't peel the prawns
You throw away the head of the shrimp, it doesn't mean the skin too, don't throw it away if you want the shrimp to survive or not rot quickly. If you don't like processed shrimp that are still attached to the skin, you can simply remove the shrimp shell when the shrimp is about to be cooked.
