How to Make Delicious Korean Shrimp Mandu

Korean Shrimp Dumpling Ingredients:

  • Shrimp (medium size (20 Bh)), 350 grams
  • Minced Chicken, 125 grams
  • Gyoza Skin
  • Ginger, 3 cm
  • Silken Tofu, 550 grams
  • Curly Red Chilli, 2 Bh
  • Shallots, 100 grams
  • Pepper, 10 grams
  • Garlic, 2 cloves
  • Sesame Oil, 25 ml
  • Soy Sauce, 20 ml.

Ingredient Sauce:

  • Nori Kumi / Korean – Japanese Topping, 10 grams
  • Corn Syrup, 10 ml
  • Soy Sauce, 20 ml
  • Grated Garlic,
  • Grated Ginger, 5 grams

Steps of Making:

  1. The ingredients are all prepared, the scallions and chilies are cut, the garlic is chopped and the ginger is grated.
  2. Crush the silken tofu, then squeeze the tofu so that the water comes out, put it on a plate and set aside, clean the shrimp until it is completely clean and remove the head
  3. Peel off part of the shrimp shell leave the tail and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  4. All the stuffing ingredients are included, such as chopped chicken, crushed tofu, chopped shrimp (if you want to add more filling with shrimp), spring onions, chili, ginger, and garlic. Also add sesame oil, soy sauce, and pepper. 
  5. All ingredients are mixed and stirred well, prepare the gyoza skin
  6. Add all the ingredients that have been mixed well. Also, put the prawns in the middle of the filling but the tail should hang out of the shell, do this until done.
  7. Prepare the steamer, give the steam a base so it doesn't stick, steam it for ± 8-10 minutes
  8. While waiting for the Korean Shrimp Dumpling to be cooked/finished steaming, let's make the sauce: mix all the sauce ingredients (soy sauce, garlic, and also grated ginger) and sprinkle the toppings
